This is the formal gate to the Sao Mai Church and school. It used to be a real big overhead gate when I was there in 1983. I guess over time, things just fell apart...and reduced to a little sign on the right. It gets even worse when I went back in 2002....the only sign left was a hand painted sign on the left of the gap there with a big arrow pointed up toward the church (or so it seemed).
