I was now climbing on Núi Chứa Chan....just a few hundred meters up the incline. I think this land belongs to Ong Ba Thơm. The green trees beyond the banana trees are Cây Điều. The land there was barren and empty when I last knew of it in 1987. This was a shooting range (Sân Bắn) for the US army in the past. The land was full of disposed ammo and shells. It was not usable for any cultivation as the soil was rock-hard and desert dry. I guess after more than 10 years....people had over taken every bit of it for good use now.
