| A simple house....This concrete house was recently built for Bà Hai out of goodwill of the neighborhood and the local government. All of the neighbors chipped in to fund for the majority of the project. Before this, Bà Hai's home was a straw hut in the back of this house. These projects are called "Ngoi Nhà Ti`nh Thuong" or in English as "Home of Love." Sounds cool huh? Actually the cost isn't much. The whole home here was built for about $1000 USD with labor and materials....Sounds cheap to you? But in vietnamese terms, its total cost is about 15 Million Đông! That's more than a year of income for typical engineers in Saigon.
