| First time ever riding a taxi in Thailand. When I got off the airport, right before curbside is the taxi calling area. I didn't have a clue that they offer more of luxury-class taxi using more expensive automobiles like Toyota Camry and such. Of course, this is not really that expensive elsewhere but this kind of car is not for the middle class. Service charge is pre-negotiated so you're not riding on the clock ticking in your face every second. It's very comfortable (at a bit higher cost) comparing to local Tuktuk and typical econo-box sub-compact taxis.
